to boot

day is done
There
chewed through rubbed friction plumb
Baring
the Animosity the flavor of scared
That
is the watch the scroll the moisture
Pooled
into seclusion
I’m
not holding myself hostage here.
This
isn’t a ransom note. I’m not looking for rescue.
