You might as well get used to it. Civilization is on one its last iterations having worn down the substrate with every sweep until finally here we stand, teetering on the edge of collapse as there is nothing to copy that hasn’t been copied. Its only a matter of until civilization succumbs to total reduplicative degeneration, if it hasn’t already. It's already succumbed to model autophagy disorder (yes this is translatable from AI and data processing, because it was there before ai and data processing).


Let me offer this to you, to them: copy-dependent systems are subject to long-range reduplication degradation (or degeneration). Any system that draws on a limited set of content to generate content will eventually collapse into reduplicative degradation. A copy of a copy of a copy ultimately arrives at a decimated copy of itself, having lost both integrity through structural degradation and accuracy in that it has assimilated and reduplicated errors, failures, and loss itself. 
and since AI is copy-dependent, drawing from a limited base of content, generated content will eventually become more degraded as it begins to draw from the range of copies already generated. 
obviously this is not limited to AI or human-generated technological systems. it goes for any system that is copy-dependent; capitalism, biology, politics, weather. If time is a succession of moments, I would stipulated that time itself is copy-dependent and consists of a series of discrete copies and, thus, copies of copies over time. 

I might be being impetuous but these cases may warrant a revisitation of copy theory.
