Let me offer this to you, to them: copy-dependent systems are subject to long-range reduplication degradation (or degeneration). Any system that draws on a limited set of content to generate content will eventually collapse into reduplicative degradation. I constructed these units the Digital Audio Degeneration Units. They are better explained on the attached jpegs, but they were designed to degrade digital audio at 20 second samples. from there you bounced them back and forth until arriving at the desired point of degeneration. For years I worked only with analog equipment. with this i didn't have to lug around a bunch of components.
