Bored of Directors

A WORD FROM ERIC LUNDE, CEO AND MEMBER OF THE BORED OF DIRECTORS OF KAN-SHIKETSU! INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRIAL CONCERN LLC

"It no more is than it is not or it both is and is not or it neither is nor is not''

Sextus Empiricus

Naysayers! You said it couldn't be done and it can't! We have succeeded in failing beyond the scope originally set out in the mission statement of our illustrious predecessors! Now comes the period of neglect we have been slouching towards!

As you join me and us in this trivial and insignificant task, as we deny the fortunes that might come to us in our neglect, kan-shiketsu! will not lead the way but retreat!

No, we cannot be satisfied in engineering for ourselves a new language that will only mimic the semantic boobytraps of the ever-present word salad that is ours! It is only a matter of time before this fabricated language falls into the same shortcomings as the dominant and pervasive! Our only chance here is to take the existing and dominant languages and re-engineer them into complete incoherence! And this can be done by treating language for what it is: a material and malleable object to be bent, shaped, and formed.

We will remove all semantic inclinations and take language for a ride to nowhere!

For in the words of Nagarjuna:

All is possible when emptiness is possible.
Nothing is possible when emptiness is impossible.

Remember, we only have our eyes to strike against the pavement! Follow this and the immortal words of Bartleby, the Scrivener:

"I would prefer not to."

Now, before I conclude this, I would like to thank Endy the Kid, Smiley Bitters, and the rest of the Directors for their lack of service and attention to detail. Without you this company runs just fine. Why you are here is beyond me. But without you this company could not possible run itself into the ground. Keep those deficits up!

And remember the Four Tenets of Kan-shiketsu! as you linger on and mill about:

TO WRITE WITH AS LITTLE EFFORT AS POSSIBLE
TO CREATE WITH AS LITTLE EFFORT AS POSSIBLE

TO WORK WITH AS LITTLE EFFORT AS POSSIBLE
TO LIVE WITH AS LITTLE EFFORT AS POSSIBLE

Until the next bored meeting,

Yours

Eric Lunde
